FITTING AN ARB AWNING TO YOUR VEHICLE

The ARB Touring Awnings are designed to handle the harsh conditions in the Australian Outback. This added integrity and reliability has gained the respect from the off-road, outdoor, and overland industry. Attaching neatly to most vehicles, these self-standing retractable awnings fit onto the side of most roof racks and roof bars, and are conveniently stored for immediate use on arrival.

Specifically designed for harsh wilderness conditions, the awnings feature anodized height adjustable telescopic legs, hook and loop ties to secure roof, thick reinforced aluminium extrusions all secured and free from the outside elements in a heavy-duty nylon reinforced PVC bag.

Constructed from tough PU coated 300gsm poly/cotton rip stop canvas, the awnings are fully waterproof and offer a UVP 50+ rating. ARB Awnings come in three great sizes, and fit up to 2.1m high mounting points. (Length being the distance from the Vehicle out).

The ARB Touring Awning comes with pegs and guy ropes for securing legs, stainless steel mounting nuts and bolts and comprehensive instructions. ARB does not include brackets with the awnings because every fitment may require a different style of bracket.

ARB offers a wide range of mounting brackets such as a universal bracket, an ARB Roof Rack bracket, ARB BASE Rack bracket and an ARB Quick Release bracket. ARB offers a Quick Release and fixed mounting solution for both the ARB BASE Rack and ARB Roof Racks along with a universal bracket for non-ARB Racks. Many cross-bar racks have mounting channels which can be used to bolt the universal bracket to the rack.

A minimum of two brackets are required to mount the ARB Touring Awnings, three brackets are highly recommended for the 2500MM Aluminium and PVC Bag Awning. ARB recommends no more than 27 inches of unsupported overhang. The ARB universal bracket can be oriented either upright or inverted depending on the door and tailgate clearance. Ensure the opening of doors and the tailgate does not interfere with the mounting location of the awning. Each awning will include six mounting bolts and nuts. The hardware to attach the bracket to your vehicle is not included.
